Generosity Corner

Following devastating flooding in 2017, a resident put up a temporary clothes rack on a busy corner as a way of enabling the free exchange of quality clothing for people impacted by the floods. This led to It Takes a Town partnering with the resident to install a semi-permanent clothes rack and a food box at the corner. Over a 3 year period, it’s estimated that over 6,000 items and several hundred meals were distributed at the site. A group of 12 residents helped to care for the corner, which became a landmark in the 2484.
