Pre-school scholarship scheme

We know that pre-school is one of the best starts in life for small children. Not all children however have equal access to it, as unfortunately some parents can’t afford the fees. Between 2018 and 2021, a group of residents took on the cost of pre-school fees for 17 children, through a scholarship scheme. The beautiful thing is that in addition to adults contributing, we had older children contributing their pocket money to the scheme. It was simple and enabled people who couldn’t contribute their time, to contribute to someone else’s well-being for as little as $5 per week.
